Heard the one about the defender who thinks he is striker? Every team has one. As a striker, Andy was deemed not good enough to play for Gold Hill by the previous regime. One shrewd move later he was transformed into a monstrous centre back. Without peer in the air this ex Wales U-18 basketball player has adapted well to his new position (when he’s occasionally found there!). The former club chaplain and Revelation of the Season 07/08 now lives and works in Gloucestershire but is one of the wider Gold Hill family who still keeps in touch with the club.
