Can the 'Special One' steer The Vets to safety in Division One?
The step up in class and fitness will really test his Vets team, and cause Thomas headaches as he tries to honestly assess the abilities of his squad, without alienating players.
Thomas is blessed with a seemingly large squad this season, which he'll look to trim to a manageable size for the season.
Having won the National Vets Christian Cup last season, he steps down from managing that squad, with Paul Morris taking the reins.
